My Ström : A sensory plunge into living currents

Multidisciplinary experience

12 — 18 DECEMBER 2025

13 — 15 FEBRUARY 2026

Brussels

“At the beginning of everything, a liquid.”
— Hugo Roellinger

My Ström transformed the historic house of Les Passagées into a living, breathing vortex – where art, sound, movement, and taste converged in a multisensory experience inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s A Descent into the Maelström.

From the very first moment visitors arrived, they were immersed in the current: a madeira-infused broth welcomed them at the entrance. Once inside, Charlotte Charbonnel’s (FR) installations and videos intertwined with the choreography of Gilles Polet (BE) and Arno Ferrera (CH), the prepared piano of Barbara Drazkov (PL), and the powerful drums and vocals of Tsubasa Hori (JP). Michelin-starred chefs Hugo Roellinger*** (FR) and Willem Hiele* (BE) offered multiple drinkable creations, each liquid deepening the experience. Together, these elements invited reflection: How do our inner currents connect with the rhythms of the world?

For two intense weeks in December 2025 and February 2026, My Ström offered a rare opportunity to engage with art in its most fluid and transformative form.

“Time suspends, logic reverses, in this profound exploration of what art can achieve when it embraces the elements.” — Marie Baudet, La Pointe
