A creative house
Les Passagées is a creative house based in Saint- Gilles (Brussels) that explores the infinite links between art, the body and what nourishes us – literally and figuratively. We express our research through live, multidisciplinary performances. Our immersive experiences, presented to the public, take place at the crossroads of the worlds of dance, music, visual arts, poetry and culinary arts.
Les Passagées is an engaged house. We believe that becoming aware of everything that inhabits, transforms and radiates at the heart of our inner being is one of the essential keys to living better together, in harmony with all living things.
Les Passagées is a house founded on human exchange. Our actions aim to provide a space for reflection, sharing and enrichment for everyone, through the creation of collective projects.
Les Passagées is a house that listens to people’s rhythms. We pay particular attention to the creative process, offering each project a long, fluid space, respecting of its needs.

To name is to open a passage.
In Les Guérillères, Monique Wittig invents a word that did not exist, a word that opens up a space, at once linguistic, imaginary, and symbolic. She creates a territory of language where another relationship to the world becomes possible. To name is to bring a reality into being, to shift the boundaries of what can be thought. It is in this breath that Les Passagées is born. The choice of a name that does not enclose, that does not claim a fixed identity, but offers itself as a movement. This invented word becomes a space of experience and transformation. To be Passagées is to accept being traversed by places, by flows, by sensations, by encounters.
To create a word is to create a world.
