A unique exploration in which the audience, artists and chefs all share, question, eat and exchange ideas around a series of dance, music, visual arts and culinary happenings. The contributors are no longer just creative inventors but also transmitters, tapping into the audience’s collective consciousness.
Through a variety of artistic mediums and culinary experiences, we’ll be taking a closer look at the act of tasting, involving as little mental analysis as possible. How can we approach what an ingredient provokes in us in its simplest form?
That everyone can rediscover a unique and conscious way of nourishment, and in so doing, contribute to a new ecosystem that is more respectful of all living things.
Stimulate a large number of artists and chefs to develop and refocus their practices around the essential and universal relationship between the body and food, and to continue spreading the word around them.
A new artistic performance will be created each year in our house, which will be open to the public (reservation required).
During a few days, a limited audience will be able to join the participating artists and chefs to experience various artistic performances and culinary experiments.
Each annual performance will be approached from a specific angle. If what I eat and what I feel constitutes me, we will explore together if and how a work of art combined with a culinary experience can open up other doors of perception.
Each year, we will also organise an open-access artistic project outside our premises (on the magnificent square opposite our house) to strengthen our links with the neighbourhood and its residents. The aim is to explore our relationship with our immediate environment, and how it affects us, from a different perspective. Because we ingest all these multiple layers surrounding us on a daily basis. Everything is interdependent, circulates, leaves and returns. Everything is a cycle.
